The FDA has issued a recall for real kosher ice cream due to a probable Listeria infection.

The FDA said on Wednesday, Aug. 9, that a soft serve ice cream brand marketed in 19 states, including Massachusetts, is being recalled because it may be contaminated with Listeria.

According to the FDA, all varieties of Real Kosher Ice Cream sold up to Friday, August 4 are being recalled. The Brooklyn, The FDA New York-based startup provides 8-ounce packets of ice cream in a variety of flavors.

According to the FDA, two people have already reported becoming unwell after eating the ice cream items. The incidents occurred in New York and Pennsylvania. In the Bay State, no instances have been documented thus far.The FDA
